The Forest County Historical Society (FCHS) is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, registered with both the IRS and the PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations.  Membership is open to all with a particular interest in Forest County History. Donations to FCHS (excluding memberships, Store purchases and fundraising events/tickets) are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Please consult your tax preparer.

Donate – Although we are an entirely volunteer organization, we do rely on contributions to support the operation of the museum, maintenance and improvements to the building and grounds, and protection of the artifact and document collections.  An Annual Membership and Donation Drive is held each January, but donations are welcome any time of year and you do not have to be a member to contribute to our efforts.  Please consider a donation in any amount to support our preservation and presentation of Forest County History.  You may use the online credit card payment option below, or print the form and mail your check to:

Members of FCHS receive our quarterly newsletter “Forest Fragments” and unlimited free admission to the museum for the year. Our annual (January 1 – December 31) membership fee is $15 per person.
