The Forest County Historical Society has set education as a priority in serving our Forest County community. For the fifth year in a row, we are going to offer our lecture series on Tuesday evenings throughout this summer. We ask presenters to share a little knowledge about anything that has to do with Forest County. Speakers talk from 7:00-7:30 and stay around until 8:00 if anyone has any questions. The cost of the programs is always free to members while guests are asked for five dollars each.
Aug 20-John Kocan -a friend who loves nature and has studied Native American history from our area somewhat extensively. The Minsi tribe is named after the wolf because they like the wolf roam. The program takes an hour + questions so tonight will be a little longer than most talks.
